How To Watch English Programs On Spanish Television

Get yourself a T.D.T. ( Terrestrial Digital Television ) box.

Don’t pay more than say 25 Euros you don’t need anything flash, also most new flat-screen T.V.s usually have T.D.T. built in.

You plug in the box using the antenna coaxial cabal then press set-up ( you can set everything in a English menu, if it’s pre set to Spanish just look for the section that says “Idioma” ( language ) press “Ingles” ( English ) then follow the instructions, don’t worry it’s dead easy ( if you get stuck, phone a friend! ).

Once all the channels have been added you are set to go.

Most systems have a built in electronic t.v. guide but to be fair they are usually a bit “hit and miss” plus the hassle of searching for programs while another is being watched can be annoying!

Most ex pats I know don’t bother to buy a daily local newspaper so I have created a quick video showing you what I do each day to see what’s on.

You will be surprised how many English T.V. shows you can watch for free ( no need to spend hundreds on Satellite systems )

All the main drama series C.S.I. , House, Sitcoms Etc.

Live Premiership football! ( often repeated later if you miss it )

Loads of movies and so on.
